Photograph two shows where one existing skylight window looked to be the original and over 100 years old, this was allowing water ingress to the property and in need of an upgrade
Photograph three shows from an inspection by Midlothian Roofing whereby one existing window was found to be in poor condition internally and in need of an upgrade
Photograph four shows where one old skylight window was removed from the property and a new larger opening size cut into the roof to accommodate the velux window replacement, all new treated timber has been installed to form the opening dimensions
Photograph five shows where a new treated timber kerb has been installed, this timber kerb is fully insulated, a bitumous primer has been applied to the perimeters in preparation for a traditional three layer felt system to be installed.
Photograph six shows where a new Velux window has been installed and secured to a new insulated timber kerb with a white internal finish
Photograph seven shows where one Velux window has been installed and felted into position to seal and match surrounding roofing materialss.
